To sit for the PMP® Certification Exam, you must meet the following requirements:

Four-Year College/University Degree

  • 36 months of experience leading projects within the past 8 years

  • 35 hours of project management education/training or a CAPM® Certification

High School or Secondary Diploma

  • 60 months of experience leading projects within the last 8 years

  • 35 hours of project management education/training or a CAPM® Certification
